The Smart Moon Lamp is a levitating LED moon lamp that uses magnetism to float and spin in mid-air. Both a functional lamp and a decorative item, it won the UK Giftware Association’s “Contemporary Gift of the Year, 2022”.

It is powered by a wooden base available in walnut, black or white ash. A degree of care is needed when placing the moon over the base, as the magnets can pull it to the sides if it is not centred. The moon illuminates when correctly positioned.

The 140mm globe is crafted using 3D printing technology to mimic the moon’s real craters and surface texture. It emits a soft, ambient glow in warm white (3500k), white (5000k) and yellow warm (2700k), allowing you to change the mood for use in a variety of different spaces such as a bedroom, living room, or workspace. The lamp uses only 1.5W of power and is fabricated from PLA (Polylactic Acid), which is an environmentally friendly, biodegradable material.
