What will Alien life Look Like?

This planet is absolutely teeming with life and so far 1.4 million different species have been identified. With so many different designs of creatures on only one planet, you might think that Alien visitors from another world could look like almost anything imaginable. However, wherever a complex life form evolves, its form and composition must obey known laws of physics and chemistry. There can also be strong similarities between species that evolve independently. (A concept known as “Convergence”).

The process of evolution dictates the survival of the fittest through natural selection. Creatures have to be able to thrive in their environment so their design must relate to that environment in a logical manner.
